Even before COVID-19, the Casino managers saw an additional revenue opportunity in renting outdoor cabanas. River Spirit Casino boasts a luxurious 483-room hotel, and the customers love relaxing by the tropical-themed resort pool and bar.
So after commissioning Play By Design, a company that has worked on the Gathering Place, they called us to design the custom canvas shade portion of the structure. And we were happy to help!
Improving the Poolside Experience
The cabana design allowed for optimum shade and comfort, complete with outdoor furniture, ceiling fans, TVs, and even speakers with crisp audio. The canvas shade offers cool relief from the sun, privacy, and a comfortable awareness of space from other customers.
It was a fun project for us, a great source of revenue for the casino, and a perfect place to relax in a socially distanced environment for customers. More than anything, it provided social distancing for their customers – even before they needed it.
